Pl Sql Developer Oracle Client Not Properly Installed Oracle Home Key
Posted By admin On 16.01.19From within PL/SQL Developer: Tools > Preferences, Under Oracle > Connection * Oracle Home (point to where tnsnames.ora file is, under the Oracle Client Installation). Hi, I had this problem before. It depends on what oracle client you are installing. I just removed the oracle client and installed it again. Deep freeze license key. I'm using Oracle 10 g client. Guide to installing and configuring PL/SQL Developer, Fix error in window 64 bit. You need to install Oracle Client or an Oracle Database on your computer.

Hi, I have the same problem, I already Installed Oracle client 11g for windows 7 64bit the client version is 11.2.0.1.0 when I run client sqlplus, it connect without errors. And when I try to connect plsql developer an error message appears. The Error Message is: Initialization error.
Could not initialize 'C: app Oracle product 11.2.0 client_1 bin oci.dll' Make sure that you have 32 bits Oracle client installed. My questions are: why plsql Developer ask for 32bit although it is installed on 64bit and the Oracle client is 64bit and working well??? Is there another plsql developer 64bit? How to solve this issue?
Thanks in advanced. Regards, #38798 - 09/22/10 06:36 AM Re: Error when trying to connect to a Oracle Database [] Member Registered: 09/22/10 Posts: 2. Coldplay ghost stories full album.
