• 6 Answers SOURCE: Make sure that it is a Dual Mode 5220. If it is you can use it as a SIP extension. It wiill say it on the back of the Mitel phone next to the 5220. If it is a dual mode phone you can purchase a sip trunk from a provider and then would be able to use the phone. When you boot up the phone hold the blue super key while the phone boots, hit the no softkey till you get to phone mode. Hit yes it will allow you to change the phone from minet to sip. This should get you started in the right direction.

Does anyone know how I might affect the number of rings before voicemail picks up on a Mitel 5224 (or the MAS)? I know I'm able to enable/disable voicemail from the web-admin, but I have no idea how to change the number of rings before it picks up. In this case in our control room they have no voicemail configured (turned off by design), but now it seems to send it to an unconfigured voicemail box after only 2 rings.

It should be 4 to 6 (and I'm told it used to be). Anu script manager for windows 10. Now if they happen to be busy for a couple of rings, it gets sent to voicemail, which isn't configured.

I don't claim to be an expert but I played around with and installed two intertel 3000's and I always found their support (back when it was intertel, pre mitel merger) to be good. If you dig deep enough on their site they have manuals and guides for just about everything. Well, the number of rings should be under the Class of Service for the extension affected, or at least that's a logical place for it.

I have never looked for it under our system. Looking through my system, it looks like it could be under Class of Service Options Assignment, assuming that you have a separate CoS for this device. As for getting routed to Voice Mail, my guess is that somehow the Call Routing - 1st Alt. Got changed on the Call Rerouting Assignment screen. This is also all assuming that your version of the software is similar to what I'm running in my 3300ICP. However, I do hope it might be helpful a little bit. What you say makes lots of sense and sounds exactly like the screens I see when dealing with phones.
